Chicken Egg Injection Vaccine Precautions
1. The site of injection should be injected subcutaneously (lower 1/3) or superficial pectoral muscle in the neck. The injection of leg muscles, especially bacterial seedlings, is not recommended. The correct method of subcutaneous injection in the neck is as follows: one person Baoding the chicken and the other person is responsible for the injection. When the skin of the chicken neck (close to the wings) was picked up with the thumb and forefinger to separate the skin from the neck muscles, the syringe needle was injected subcutaneously between the thumb and the index finger at an angle of less than 30 degrees. Oilseeds after injection should be distributed between the neck muscles and the skin. In the pectoral muscle injection, a short needle 7-9 should be used. The needle and the injection site should be at an angle of 30 degrees. At the upper 1/3 of the chest, the pectoral muscle should be pierced in the direction of the back and cannot be pierced vertically.
2, shake the seedlings before immunization should be uniform, pay attention to pre-temperature. Before inject oil seedlings in autumn and winter, be sure to preheat. Pre-heating method: 4-5 hours before seedling injection, remove the oil seedlings and put them into warm water (37-40°C) so that the temperature of the oil seedlings is as close to the body temperature of the chicken as possible.
3. When the seedlings are injected, the chickens should be taken carelessly and the chickens should not be rough. The drop in the egg production rate after the majority of chickens are injected is related to the excessive brutality of catching chickens. However, egg breeder chickens often perform artificial insemination because of their catching chickens. Their impact on egg production rate is small after injection of oil seedlings.
4, during injection can add drugs to relieve stress. Two and a half milligrams of ox tetracycline and amino vitamin in drinking water can be added to the feed 2-3 days before and after injection, to relieve the seedling stress. Adding an immune booster in drinking water to improve vaccine protection.
5, egg-laying chicken oil injection should be selected at the right time. Since the egg production of normal high-yield chickens is concentrated in the morning, the number of eggs produced in the morning accounts for more than 80% of the eggs produced throughout the day. In the afternoon, the sheds are dark and it is not easy to cause chicken flocking. Therefore, it is very necessary to choose injections in the afternoon, especially after 4 o'clock. If you inject oil seedlings in the morning, disrupting the normal egg production patterns of chickens, it is easy to cause symptoms such as abdominal egg and yolk peritonitis.
6. When there is an infectious disease in a neighboring chicken group, the chickens should be vaccinated urgently. Follow the order of “Healthy Chickens → Presumed Healthy Chickens → Chickens”. When the disease exists in the flock, oil seedlings should be avoided. If necessary, vaccination should be conducted under the guidance of a veterinarian.
As long as the above problem is noticed, injection of oil seedlings during the laying period has no significant effect on the egg production rate of the flock. Even if the egg production rate drops after injection, the rate will not be large
